ELIGIBILITY

Basic Eligibility

Only Civil War Round Tables may apply.

New Project:
Applicants must undertake a new project, not rely on a previous project.

Mission Alignment: Applicant's organization mission and goals must align with the mission and goals of the CWRT Congress.

Record Keeping: Applicants must have demonstrated clear and accurate record keeping.

Applicant Agrees

One Application: To only apply for one grant per CWRTC grant cycle.

Reporting: Report project outcome(s) to the CWRT Congress.

Limitation: To return the full grant amount if not spent within one year.

Cooperation: Assist the CWRT Congress with promoting applicant's approach through interview(s), descriptive articles, etc.

Accountability: Provide a detailed report describing how the grant funds were used.

SELECTION

Grant Selection Criteria

Goals and Impacts are Clearly Defined: CWRT Congress seeks to know how the grant monty will make a difference with specific intended outcomes. Application will have clear, measurable objectives to illustrate project impact.

Demonstrate Sustainability: CWRT Congress prefers projects that can continue after the initial grant monies are spent. Application demonstrates how the project will sustain itself in the long term.

Follow Guidelines: Application instructions are strictly followed. Missing information or failing to follow guidelines will result in disqualification.

Tell a Compelling Story: The narrative conveys the importance of your project. Personal stories, testimonials, and case studies can make the application more engaging and memorable.

Provide Detailed Budget: The project budget is clear and realistic.

Show Collaboration: When appropriate, partnerships are highlighted. Collaboration can demonstrate broader support and enhance the project credibility.

Proofread and Edit: Application is free of errors and is clearly written. A well-polished application reflects professional ism and attention to detail.
